From the payment screen, you can collect payment three different ways depending on the situation. All three are powered by Stripe and deposit to your bank account the next working day.

💳 Card — enter details manually

Use this when your customer hands you their card and you type the details in. Enter the card number, expiry, and CVV, then tap 'Charge $[amount]'. The card is charged immediately.

🔒
Your customer's card is safeCard data is encrypted and sent directly to Stripe. CashWrench never stores card numbers — not even temporarily.

🔗 Link — send a payment link

Use this when the customer wants to pay later, isn't present, or prefers to pay on their own device. Tap 'Send Link' and choose SMS, email, or copy the URL. Your customer receives a branded payment page they can pay from any device.

📡 Tap — NFC contactless

Use this for tap-to-pay. An NFC-enabled phone or reader is required. Ask the customer to tap their contactless card or phone/watch. The app detects the tap and processes the charge automatically.

⚠️
NFC device requiredTap-to-pay requires your device to have NFC capability. Most modern iPhones and Android phones support this. Check your phone specs if the Tap tab is greyed out.
