Release Update: Recurring Jobs

Standing customers no longer mean rebuilding the same job every cycle. Turn on Recurring service when you build a quote for any trade, choose how often, and set the first visit. Your customer sees the price per visit and the schedule before they sign.

How often is Weekly, Biweekly, Monthly or Custom. Custom repeats every set number of weeks or months: 3 months for quarterly, 6 for twice a year, 12 for yearly. Each trade starts on its usual schedule: weekly for cleaning and junk removal, every 3 months for pest control and windows, every 6 months for HVAC, every 12 months for pressure washing, and monthly for the rest. Visits keep their date, so a service that starts on the 31st lands on the last day of shorter months, then goes back to the 31st.

Once the customer approves, the job you quoted becomes the first visit and every visit due in the next 8 weeks goes on your schedule. Later visits are added 8 weeks before their date. Each visit is a normal job, so photos, expenses and the Google review request work as usual. When you mark a visit complete, its invoice is created at the agreed price, ready for you to send.

Need a different price for one visit, like an oven clean the customer asked for on the day? Change that visit's price and choose: invoice it yourself because they already agreed, or send it to them to approve first. The rest of the schedule stays as it was. You can also skip or move a single visit, or end the service, and every change is logged on the service page for your own records.

Jobs now carry what you need on site. Every job can hold gate, lockbox and alarm codes and a note about pets, and cleaning jobs also get the property type, the type of clean, bedrooms and bathrooms or square footage, and who brings the supplies. A new Cleaning quote starts from those details. They're copied to every visit and never appear on anything your customer sees.
