Resetting Your Password

How to reset your CashWrench password if you've forgotten it — a reset link is sent to your email in seconds.

If you've forgotten your password, CashWrench sends a secure reset link to your email address. The whole process takes under 2 minutes.

How to reset your password

Tap 'Forgot password?' on the Login screen
This is below the password field. Tapping it opens the Reset Password screen.

Enter your email address
Use the same email you signed up with. If you're not sure which one, try your most common email addresses.

Tap '📧 Send Reset Link'
CashWrench sends an email from no-reply@cashwrench.app with a secure reset link. This takes a few seconds.

Open the email and tap 'Reset My Password'
Check your inbox — and your spam folder if you don't see it within 2 minutes. The link opens a secure page to set a new password.

Create a new password
Choose a new password (minimum 8 characters, include a number or symbol). Confirm it and save.

Sign in with your new password
Return to the CashWrench app and sign in using your email and new password.

Reset link expires in 15 minutesThe link in your email is only valid for 15 minutes. If it expires before you use it, tap 'Resend Email' on the confirmation screen to get a fresh one.

Didn't receive the email?

First, check your spam or junk folder — reset emails occasionally land there. Make sure you're checking the inbox for the exact email address you signed up with.

If the email still hasn't arrived after 5 minutes, tap '📧 Resend Email' on the confirmation screen to send a new one.

Signed up with Google?If you created your account using Google, you don't have a CashWrench password. Tap 'Continue with Google' on the Login screen instead.

Frequently asked questions

Check your spam folder first. Make sure you typed the exact email you used to sign up — including the correct domain (e.g. .com not .co). If still nothing, contact support at help@cashwrench.com.

Reset links are valid for 15 minutes only. Go back to 'Forgot password?' and request a new one — it arrives within seconds.

Make sure you're signing in with the same email address you requested the reset for. Try copying and pasting the password to avoid typos.
