Release Update: Categorization of Job Type

Every job and quote now starts with a Job Type — 13 categories, from Cleaning to Windows, including an Other catch-all. It’s a required field alongside Customer and Job Title. First step toward quote fields and templates that adapt to the type of job — more on that soon.

What's included

  • 13 job types: Cleaning, Electrical, Flooring, General, Handyman, HVAC, Junk Removal, Painting, Pest Control, Plumbing, Pressure Washing, Windows and Other.
  • Required on every new job, next to Customer and Job Title.
  • The same list as Primary Trade in Settings, so the two always match.
  • Groundwork for quote templates by trade. The first, Pressure Washing, shipped on September 28 and opens automatically for pressure washing jobs. Cleaning, Window Cleaning, Painting and Flooring followed on September 30.
